Vitamin B7 - BIOTIN
Water-soluble vitamin – a vitamin that is broken down into particles when put into water. In France it is marked as B8. Being Essential for cell growth within the body, it aids in synthesis of fatty acids and in metabolism of fats, amino acids and carbohydrates. In many situations it might also aid in maintaining normal blood sugar level and, sometimes, this vitamin intake is advised for strengthening nails and hair. Humans obtain BIOTIN by means of food intake and due to intestinal bacterial activity. It is found in many food products, such as eggs, liver, dairy products, salmon fish, nuts, mushrooms, green leafed vegetables etc. and can be consumed as a food supplement as well.
